日本三大急登のひとつで、4時間の登りはハードだつたが、良い想い出がいっぱいです。中房温泉をスタート、第一ベンチに着くと林に包まれた谷閒には冷たい水が流れて爽やかな風が吹く。第二ベンチを過ぎたあたりから尾根らしくなり、歩き始めて三時間、合戦小屋に着く。この小屋はスイカが有名で、冷え冷えのスイカを食べると急に元気が戻ってきた。小屋を過ぎると、ハクサンイチゲなどが咲く高山植物のお花畑を見ながらの快適な山行で、間もなく展望が開け燕山荘が見えてワクワク、「ヤッタね～」と心も弾む。小屋での夜は主人の奏でるアルプホルンの演奏会で至福のひと時を過ごす。スイスを旅した時のことが蘇がえる。翌朝は燕岳頂上往復のあと、槍ヶ岳を目指して表銀座縦走にとりついたが、この山荘を去りがたい気持ちでした。

It is one of the three major rapid climbs in Japan, and although it was hard to climb for 4 hours, I have a lot of good memories. After starting Nakabusa Onsen and arriving at the first bench, cold water flows through the valley surrounded by forests and a refreshing breeze blows. After passing the second bench, it became like a ridge, and after three hours of walking, I arrived at the battle hut. This hut is famous for watermelons, and when I ate cold watermelons, I suddenly regained my energy. After passing the hut, you can enjoy a comfortable mountain trip while looking at the flower fields of alpine plants where Hakusanichige and other flowers bloom. Soon, the view will open and you will be able to see Enzanso. At night in the hut, spend a blissful time at the alphorn concert played by the master. The time when I traveled to Switzerland is revived. The next morning, after making a round trip to the summit of Mt. Tsubakuro, I set out on the Omotesinza traverse toward Mt. Yari, but I felt it was hard to leave this mountain lodge.

北アルプス三大急登の1つです。燕岳に登るために利用しましたが、「そこそこキツい」が感想です。 1450mほどの中房温泉をスタートして、標高2700mの燕山荘まで標高差は1250m。標高1800m付近にある第二ベンチあたりまでの傾斜がきつかったですが、その後は普通の登りになります。ベンチや合戦小屋と言った休憩スポットが用意されてますので、適宜休憩を取得して、無理せず登るようにしましょう。景観は木々に覆われてそれほど良くは無いですが、紅葉シーズンはまぁまぁ。歩きやすいルートでオススメできるので☆4です。
