★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新穂高から笠新道経由で笠ヶ岳に登る際の１つ目の峠です。
峠といっても、峠を過ぎて20m先にある平地です。
笠新道を登っているとここが山頂に見えるのでひたすら登ってきますが、ここに着いた途端にその先が一気に開けてきます。
地上からは決して見ることのできない笠ヶ岳がその姿を表します。
7月初旬に登ったのですが、7月にも関わらず雪渓が大量に残っていて、自然の生々しさを感じ取ることができました。
ここから抜戸岳近くを経由して、それからは稜線を歩いて笠ヶ岳にアクセスできます。穂高温泉からここまで4時間ほど、ここから笠ヶ岳まで3時間ほどかかります。
This is the first pass when climbing Kasagatake from Shinhotaka via Kasashinmichi.
Even though it is a pass, it is a flat land 20 meters away from the pass.
When you climb the Kasashindo, you can see the top of the mountain, so you can climb it all the time, but as soon as you get here, the destination opens at once.
Kasagatake, which can never be seen from the ground, shows its appearance.
I climbed in early July, but despite July, a large amount of snowy valleys remained, and I was able to feel the freshness of nature.
From here, you can access Mt. Nuketo via Mt. Nuketo and then walk along the ridgeline to reach Mt. Kasagatake. It takes about 4 hours from Hotaka Onsen to here, and about 3 hours from here to Kasagatake.

登り切ったところで一休みする登山者が多く、ここから笠ヶ岳方面がよく見えます
