ま	まちやの人 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ あやめいけ・・素敵な名前の駅だ。じっさいに駅北口に菖蒲池という池（きれいな池です）があり、かつてはその周りに遊園地が広がっていた。現在は跡地に小ぎれいな住宅が建ち、ラ・テラスなどの洒落たお店も出来て、なかなかのセレブタウンに変貌した。池の周りに樹木も多く、とくに紅葉の時期はちょっと見惚れるくらい綺麗だ。対して、昔ながらの南口は、昔ながらのお米屋さんがあったりと昭和な雰囲気を残し、小さくても実力派のうどん屋やそば屋やカレー屋がある町。改札の目の前に出来た鳥のうまい居酒屋さんも、末永く頑張ってほしい。南北駅前の対照的な表情が面白い菖蒲池駅だが、正直、目玉となる「何か」はなく、わざわざ寄る気が起きないのも事実。そこが良さでもあるが。個人的には、きれいな図書館が池のほとりに出来ると良いなと思う。（奈良市は図書館の扱いが低すぎる！！）それと、菖蒲池にほんとうに菖蒲がたくさん咲けばなあ・・・ Ayameike ... Nowadays, a neat house has been built on the site, and fashionable shops such as La Terrace have been opened, and it has transformed into a celebrity town. There are many trees around the pond, and it is so beautiful that you can admire it especially during the autumn colors. On the other hand, the old-fashioned south exit has a Showa-era atmosphere with old-fashioned rice shops, and even if it is small, it is a town with talented udon shops, soba shops, and curry shops. I want you to do your best for a long time at the delicious izakaya with birds that was built right in front of the ticket gate. Ayameike Station has an interesting contrasting expression in front of the north-south station, but to be honest, there is no "something" that is the centerpiece, and it is a fact that you do not bother to approach. That is also good. Personally, I think it would be nice to have a clean library by the pond. (Nara City is too low to handle libraries !!) Also, I wish there were a lot of irises in the iris pond ...
