It is a taxidermy store that has been around for at least 40 years, and it is a store that has been worrisome since childhood as to what kind of people will come and what kind of people will be purchased.

今まで海外含め何十人と剥製師と接し、作品にも触れてきましたがアトリエ杉本さんは本当の意味でいい職人だと思います。特に鳥類の完成度は圧巻で、職人曰く「あまりよろしくない完成度」の作品さえペットショップに並んでいても何ら違和感ない程に生き生きとしています。
尋ねれば気遣いという人間にしか出来ない対応をきちんと返す、決して技術に溺れることなく静かに寄り添う、数万単位の少額依頼でも誇りを持って応える。素晴らしい職人さんです。

Up until now, I have contacted dozens of people, including those overseas, and worked on the works, but I think Mr. Sugimoto is really a good craftsman. In particular, the perfection of birds is a masterpiece, and even the works of “not so good perfection” that the craftsman says are lively to the extent that there is no sense of incompatibility even if they are lined up in a pet shop.
If you ask, it will return the response that can only be taken care of by human beings, and will quietly snuggle up without being drowned in technology, responding with pride even in small requests of tens of thousands. A wonderful craftsman.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 社長が気さくな方で、スタッフもとても感じがいいです。うちからはかなり距離はありますがプロ意識の高い丁寧なお仕事なので剥製の修理はいつもここでと決めています。
The president is friendly and the staff are very nice. Although it is quite a distance from us, it is a polite work with a high degree of professionalism, so I always decide to repair stuffed animals here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ セキセイインコの剥製を依頼しました。6回目です。戻ってくるまでまちどおしいです。郊外にある目立たない小さなお店ですけれど日本中から依頼があるみたいです。
I requested taxidermy of budgerigars. This is the 6th time. It's terrible until I come back. It's a small shop in the suburbs that doesn't stand out, but it seems that there are requests from all over Japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 家族の一員だった小鳥を葬ってしまうことが辛く、どうしたものか考えていたところインターネットでこちらを見つけた時は希望の光が差したような思いでした。
電話での問い合わせや亡骸と一緒にお店に伺った際も親切でテキパキとした対応でした。
少しでも生前の姿を再現しようと腐心されているのがわかりますし、実際に完璧に仕上げていただいたと思っています。
おかげさまで亡くなった時と葬る時と2度泣かずに済みました。これからもずっと一緒にいられることを幸せに思います。
