M	Mohit Challa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a beautiful spot and definitely must visit if you’re in the area. The access road is narrow and inclined, gets snowy/icy in winters. Cars can slide here. Go only if you have winter tires and a 4WD car. Experienced drivers can manage in a 2WD car but winter tires are a must if there is snow or ice on the road.

The path along the river is a single track tarmac road most of the way, but they seem to try to manage traffic at peak times to keep cars don't to a small number. There is an optional "nature trail" which goes into the forest and close to a large waterfall and also a camp site at the furthest point of the walk. If you want to just enjoy the river at your own pace walking both up and down the valley, would recommend a good half day. Longer if you want to enjoy a longer stop for lunch on the river edge.
M	Matthias Sidler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place for easy hiking and enjoying the beautiful river and the mountain scenery. There are several places along the river you can easily go in and have a swim to cool a little down from the usual hot Japanese summer. The water is amazing, perfectly clear. You have to park your car at the very beginning of the valley, I think you can only drive up the hill if you intend to stay at the camping. But if you want, you can take a bus which will get you at least the half way up to the camping location.
