★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 両俣小屋から左俣沢沿いに２時間登ります。渇水時でも渡渉しますので沢靴が必要です。増水時は通行不可。北岳にはここからは上がれません。
 From Ryomata hut, climb along Satamatazawa for 2 hours. You will need a pair of shoes as you will be able to cross over even when the water is drought. It is impassable when the water level rises. You cannot go up to Mt. Kitadake from here.
