★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ずっと行ってみたいと思っていたのでGWに行きました。入口は館内にある違う施設と同じですが右に入ると受付と売店が。ミュージアムの説明を受けたあと、縄文太鼓の音を聞きながら土偶や土器を拝見しました。興味をそそる工夫があちこちに施され、子供も大喜び。体験コースも魅力的で、粘土で思いおもいの土偶や土器なども作れます。
ひとつの粘土を2人でシェアしてもOK。
 I always wanted to go, so I went to GW. The entrance is the same as the different facilities in the building, but when you get to the right you will see the reception and the store. After receiving an explanation of the museum, I saw a clay pot and a pottery while listening to the sound of a Jomon drum. Intriguing devices are applied here and there, and children are delighted. The experience course is also attractive, and clay can be used to make the most interesting clay pots and pottery.
It is OK even if two people share one clay.

浅間の頂を見るための空間を設けたのに目の前に市営住宅を建ててしまったのが難点……。
Visited at a special exhibition of stone sticks. It was very good.
The difficulty is that we built a municipal house in front of us even though we provided a space to see the top of Asama.

スタッフの方々は、親切で丁寧な対応で、
土器作り体験も楽しめました(^ ^)
館内は キレイで お洒落な雰囲気、
おススメしたいミュージアムでした！
また来年も行きたいです
At the end of summer vacation, it was the first visit by group use with elementary and junior high school students.
The staff are friendly and courteous,
I also enjoyed making pottery (^ ^)
The hall is beautiful and stylish,
It was a museum I wanted to recommend!
I want to go again next year

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 軽井沢周辺で子供と一緒に楽しる場所を求めて訪れましたが、予想以上に楽しめました。
土器を中心に展示されていますが、意外と知らない縄文時代の知識を得ることができ、大人も楽しめます。
館内見学のあとには勾玉作りをお勧めします。スタッフはとても親切にサポートしてくれます。
小学2年生でも、柔らかめの石なら1時間弱で完了しました。
その後は弓矢や火起こし体験もやってみると3時間程のコースでした。
I visited around Karuizawa in search of places to enjoy with my children, but I enjoyed it more than I expected.
Although it is exhibited mainly on earthenware, it is possible to gain unexpected knowledge of the Jomon period and enjoy it for adults.
We recommend making a gem after a tour of the museum. The staff is very kind and supportive.
Even in the second grade of elementary school, soft stones were completed in less than an hour.
After that, it was a course of about 3 hours when I tried bow and arrow and fire-up experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御代田の近くで予定があったので空き時間に立ち寄りました。
土器や縄文時代のことはあまり存じ上げませんが、当時の利用状況を伝える解説や展示されている重要文化財の土器がとても素晴らしかったです。
お土産の土器のレプリカやガチャガチャが豊富です！
I had a plan near Miyota, so I stopped by in my spare time.
I don't know much about pottery and the Jomon period, but the commentary on the usage situation at that time and the pottery of important cultural properties on display were very wonderful.
There are plenty of souvenir pottery replicas and gacha-gacha!

There is a free parking lot, and the 2nd floor is the Asamayama Eruption Memorial Hall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got stuck in the area on a rainy day, and desperately searched for something to do indoors. This museum is 500 yen, but well worth it if you are interested in archaeology or geology. There are plentiful Jomon artefacts from area excavations as well as a section on the geology of Mt. Asama. Most information is translated into English and it only takes about an hour to go through even if you're looking at everything carefully.
