★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 朝日村のマンホールカード（2018年12月14日に配布開始の第9弾）は平日は朝日村役場で8:30〜17:15に配布ですが、休日はAYTマルチメディアセンター1Fにある朝日村図書館で9:00〜17:00に配布です。ただし年末年始（12/29〜1/3）は休みです。
 The Asahi Village manhole card (9th distribution starting on December 14, 2018) is distributed at the Asahi Village Office from 8:30 to 17:15 on weekdays, but on holidays the Asahi Village Library on the 1st floor of the AYT Multimedia Center. It will be distributed from 9:00 to 17:00. However, it is closed during the year-end and New Year holidays (12 / 29-1 / 3).

各種DVDも揃っています。ニルスの不思議な旅や、まんが日本昔ばなし等を借りて来ています。
小学生の息子は、課題図書を読む宿題が沢山出ていて、苦労しながら一生懸命読んでいます。今の小学生は一年間で百冊も本を読むのですネ…。自分の頃は全くなかったので読まなかったですが…。
保育園生の次男も、真似をして本を読んでいます。
ケーブルテレビの朝日放送で、司書の方が新刊等の説明をされていましたネ。
