★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 初めて駅を利用した時、電車の扉が開き降りたとき、森林の香りに包まれて大変心地良かったです。今では電車を降りて森林公園を散歩するのがとても楽しみです。
When I used the station for the first time, when the train door opened and closed, I was very comfortable surrounded by the scent of the forest. Now I'm really looking forward to getting off the train and taking a walk in the forest park.

無駄に広くて立派な駅前広場は、もっと有効利用するべきだと思う。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 半地下ですが、アーチ状の吹き抜けや森林公園が見渡せる窓とテラスがあり、意外と格好良いです。ただ、車両の切り替えポイントがなく、震災の時にはターミナル駅的には何の役にもたちませんでした。
地下鉄定期券も更新でき、支払いはカードも使えますが日曜、祭日は休みで時間も早めに閉まるので要注意です。素直に仙台駅まで行った方が良いです。
It's semi-underground, but it's surprisingly cool with its windows and terrace overlooking the arched atrium and forest park. However, there was no point to switch vehicles, and it didn't serve any purpose as a terminal station at the time of the earthquake.
You can also update your subway commuter pass and use a card for payment, but be careful as it closes early on Sundays and public holidays. It's better to go straight to Sendai Station.
