Hiroshi Hibino, who was famous as the marathon principal in last year's Taiga drama "Itaten", was introduced. It is the story of the old system junior high school age though. Still I do not mind. How about building a bronze statue of Prof. Hibino as a person who had a great influence on Kinzuri Shizo on this occasion? If there is already, it is extra care. Not bad.

It is a school that can be said to be the pride of Aichi Prefecture. Since ancient times, my ability has not diminished, and it is a school that all honor students in Aichi Prefecture aim for. Club activities are substantial and tradition is very good.

It was a little noisy at Aeon's food court In the first place, Aeon is not a library It's a noisy place originally, so don't worry. I think. And I've never seen such a bad student I mean, there are many students who look like that

There was also a part-time system, and school lunches were also made. The building is also stately and is a historic super-preparatory school.

Opened in the old system of Aichi Ichichu, with Ichisan High School as the mother. Initially, Aichi Prefecture adopted an elementary school district system (restricting regular courses to about one school in the school district), so students could only be gathered from a small area (it was a school district different from Meiwa High School), and it had an outstanding track record. However, when it expanded to two school districts in all prefectures in 1956, the number of students who went on to higher education soared. The number of students at that time has not been confirmed, but in 1967, the number of students passed was 71 at the University of Tokyo, 32 at Kyoto University, and 156 at Nagoya University. At that time, the number of successful applicants from high schools in Aichi Prefecture, the University of Tokyo, was 120, and it can be said that they had an exclusive position. After that, in the first half of the 1970s, the school group system was started in 1973 with the aim of eliminating the disparity between high schools in the prefecture, while showing a calmness of about 40 students at the University of Tokyo. In Nagoya City, a special "complex school group" was adopted in which 1 to 15 groups of Nagoya were prepared and each school took students from 2 groups. Asahigaoka High School became a high school that took students from Nagoya 2nd and 3rd groups, with 2nd group being Chigusa High School and 3rd group being Municipal Kita High School. Even under the school group system, there were many applicants for going on to Asahioka High School, but in the 2nd and 3rd groups, the majority of the students wanted the 2nd group in collaboration with Chigusa High School due to their location, and as a result, the 2nd group It became the most difficult task. As for Chikusa, there are 2 groups in this pair because it is close to Kikuzato, another partner, Kikuzato itself is a traditional school, and access is convenient. It became the group next to the group. On the other hand, the 3 groups are unpopular, and at this time, 1000 species will slightly exceed Asahigaoka. After that, after the introduction of the compound selection system, it returned to the top schools in Nagoya city, but the results did not return, but rather it dropped in the latter half of the 2000s, and it sometimes fell below Ichinomiya in the suburbs. However, the 2010s showed a revival trend. Currently, about 30 people from the University of Tokyo, about 30-40 people from Kyoto University, and about 30-40 people from the Faculty of Medicine have passed the exam every year. It is said to be the best in Japan. It is expected that nearly half of the total number of students will take these universities, including those who took these universities in the first half of the national university but failed and took another university in the second half of the exam, or those who went on to a private university (actually). In the class I was in at that time, at least 21 out of 40 students took the exam, and 17 of them are currently going on to higher education. There are many people, and I have the impression that Nagoya University has a lot of aspirations for those with slightly lower grades (of course, there are cases where the upper class takes the exam). It doesn't feel like "studying" in the school, but it is certain that the percentage of applicants for higher education is higher than the number of successful applicants.
