M	M OSHIMA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一度実際に田んぼアートを見たくて、行ってきました。旭城の4階の展望台から見ると一番綺麗に見えるようにデザインされているようですね。尾張旭市の市政50周年が今年のテーマ！40周年から毎年行われているということは11回目ですね。左は尾張旭市のマスコットキャラクター"あさぴー"右は？？？JAのキャラクターのようですね。"いなほちゃん" 旭城は昔、城があった公園の一角に建ってますが、史実に基づいて建てられたものではないようですね。あくまでイメージ。1階はレストラン。3階は愛知県内の城(建物あり)の案内と甲冑などの展示。4階は展望台となってます。かなり低いですので、展望は期待できません。 I went there because I wanted to actually see rice paddy art. N	Nathan Gildart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although this “castle”, Asahi Castle, isn’t a true reconstruction the site was Niijo (Nii Castle) from the Kamakura Period. It was apparently a fort rather than a castle. The period shows the shift to a military government with a Shogun holding power over the emperor from 1185, after the Gempei War. The park area is nice with tress and temples. Too out of the way and less significant for tourists but worthwhile for locals.
