★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 友人の忘年会で行きました。お刺身、鍋物、ぶりの照り焼き、焼きうどんなどで、安心できる食事を頂くことが出来ました。女将さんの人柄も大変よく、また行きたいと思いました。
 I went to a friend's year-end party. With sashimi, hot pot, teriyaki for the first time, baking, I was able to have a safe meal. The proprietress was very good and I wanted to go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 韓国からオートバイで日本に旅行しました。 鳥取のゲストハウスに予約して、このレストランを訪れました。 同僚と私は日本語を話せませんでしたが、中年の男性客が翻訳を手伝ってくれました。 二人の女性店員はとてもフレンドリーで、私たちはとても元気に食べました。 鳥取では短い時間でしたが、とても楽しい経験になりました。 彼女が私たちを覚えているかどうかはわかりません。
I traveled from Korea to Japan by motorcycle. I booked a guest house in Tottori and visited this restaurant. My colleague and I could not speak Japanese, but a middle-aged male customer helped with the translation. The two female clerk were very friendly and we ate very well. Although it was a short time in Tottori, it was a very enjoyable experience. I don't know if she remembers us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 暖簾を潜ると店のカウンター内から｢いらっしゃいませ！」と明るい声が響きます。(初めて入店です)
(日替わり定食)を注文し食べました。
四角な黒漆色の弁当箱の区分けに何品かのおかず、おひたし、サラダ、ふっくらした白米が仲良く彩り良くバランス良く収まっています。
それとお味噌汁入りの茶碗がついてます。薄味でおいしく家庭の味。
｢あさがお」はお昼時の近くの役所、会社、事業所等サラリーマンの行きつけのなくてはならない良きお店です。
｢和食・居酒屋 あさがお」は外から見るとずいぶんとノッポなお店ですが中に入れば全然そんなことなくゆったりできます。壁や柱にはお店のトレッドマーク(あさがお)の可愛い挿し絵が咲いています。
お二人がお店の切り盛りをなさり、客が店を出るときは｢ありがとうございました。またお越しをお願いします」とお一人が声を掛けると必ずもう一人の方が、その後に続けて同じく声を掛けておいでです。
こんな所にも皆さんが寄り付いてくるのでしょうね。ご馳走さまでした。

ただし、喫煙可でありそれが大変残念。
美味しい料理も魅力減！
だから、行きたくても行かない。

常連の方がついてるみたいで、その「内輪の雰囲気」が嫌いでない方ならお店に溶け込めると思う。

店内には日替わり弁当700円以外の掲示が無かったので今は日替わりだけなのかな？ゆかりご飯にチキングラタンがメイン、それに麻婆春雨、白和え、おでん、お汁に漬物なので品数も量も豊富です
味付けは家庭料理風で塩辛すぎず丁度良い塩梅でホッとする美味しさです
……個人的にはお箸がちょっと滑りやすいように思いました
