★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Also not sure why is there a disrespectful barista comment, cos Taiju Hayashi-San was very willing to share his coffee roasting experiences. He has beans from all over including Dominican Republic, Ethiopia etc. I found out from him that Thailand has great beans from the highlands as well. Cool and neat place. Small space but he has another cafe down the road, short walk away I think.
He also offered the Kiyosumi Shirakawa cafe/bike map which was Super useful. Totally worth checking out when you are in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s the perfect neighborhood cafe and I would love to live next door. The owner barista serves the best hand drip coffee in kiyosumi. Although there are only a few seats, the environment is chill and welcoming with traditional Japanese music(?). This place is not pretentious or touristy in any way. A must- visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a sort of bizarre place we bumped into. It isn’t big but you can find a place to sit while the guy (who seems to be the owner) prepares your coffee. He was offering I think 17 different varieties of coffee, so it is the place if you’re looking to try something different or exotic.
It also seem most of the customers were usual clients who came to the store regularly to try the new coffees.
