小	小川悟志 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ あおなみ線の荒子駅から歩いて10分かからないくらいの場所にあります。駅からだと参道は反対側です。東門から入ります。前田利家が福井に行く前に本堂を寄進されたようです。今はもっと綺麗になってました。多宝塔も国宝と記載されている通り立派でした。 It is less than 10 minutes walk from Arako Station on the Aonami Line. From the station, the approach is on the other side. Enter from the east gate. It seems that Toshiie Maeda donated the main hall before going to Fukui. It's more beautiful now. Y	Yasuhiro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 市営地下鉄東山線の高畑駅から徒歩10分の市街地にあります。寺伝によると天平元年（729）に創建された古刹で、尾張四観音のひとつです。尾張四観音はいずれも1,000年以上の歴史のある古刹で、当寺のほか、甚目寺観音、龍泉寺観音、笠寺観音があります。当寺の多宝塔は国の重文で、名古屋市内最古の建物といわれています。当寺で有名なのは何と言っても円空仏です。当寺には1200体以上の円空仏が現存しています。見にくいのですが、写真の仁王門には円空最大の仁王像があります。一本の丸太から掘り出した仁王像は大きさが３ｍを超え、彫りだした作業から出た木片からも多数の仏像を作っています。円空仏は素朴で、不思議とやさしさを感じる仏像です。木端仏（こっぱぶつ）と呼ばれる小型のものをみていると、庶民が手に握りしめて拝んでいる姿が目に浮かんできます。 It is located in the city center, a 10-minute walk from Takabata Station on the Municipal Subway Higashiyama Line. I was allowed to go on the 4th, but there were few people and it was quiet. I wondered if I should have driven by car because there was a place where I parked the car.
