★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place for sports and especially cyclo, although the slowing barriers are super annoying as they are meant for racing bikes. The electric rental bikes can't fit through them and are too heavy to lift over the barriers so I reduced two starts for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely amazing experience sitting here and watching the incredible Itabashi fireworks in early August. So many people wearing beautiful yukatas and enjoying tacoyaki etc. The fireworks lasted 90 minutes starting at 7:10 pm. Get there early (5:30 pm) to ensure you have a good seat. It's a 20 minute walk from the mita subway line but they close the road traffic so it's easy to walk. If you're taking the mita line it's absolutely packed. Hundreds of thousands of people come for the festival. Enjoy!
