山	山鉄けんちゃん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 窓口でスマホの青函フェリーの画面からクーポン券を提示して割引を受けよう。なんか常識みたい。窓口の人も乗船下船の案内の人も普通に親切。もともと車両専用だったらしく超シンプル。毛布の貸し出しも無い。だいたい案内カウンターが無いし人もいない。最初はちょっとびっくりする。せっけんは無いけどシャワーはある。横になっていられるのは正味３時間。なんとも微妙な時間。青森側は二階の待合室で充電できる。待合室の長椅子は仕切られて横になれない。早朝に着いて真っ暗の中。青森駅に向かう。除雪で除けられて埋まった歩道を自らラッセルして進むのは現実的に不可能。車道の端を歩くこととなった。トラックに除雪車。とても怖いし向こうも怖いし迷惑だろう。タクシーが現実的だが。そしたら青函フェリーを使う意味無いし。青森駅西口に着いてほっとした。函館側は五稜郭駅に歩くのがいいかも。今回は青森よりは函館は雪は少なかった。たいていそうなのかな。青函連絡船を知っている年代だけど、もう歩くのにも慣れた。青森も橋上駅になったし。 Present your coupon from the Seikan Ferry screen on your smartphone at the counter to receive a discount. The ferry itself was large and well sign posted and had adequate onboard facilities including toilets, vending machines and a Japanese style lounge in which you could rest or nap on the floor. There is also an outdoor observation deck on which you can take photos or get some fresh sea air.

Not just a beautiful view we could see from the ferry but also the cabin was clean, modern and even had a room to lie down and have a nap! There were also shower rooms, which looked clean as well. Very impressed! The price changes depends on the season so check it before booking online. We paid ¥13,000 for our small car + 2 adults from Aomori to Hakodate (3.5hr ride). Good deal!
