It's a cluster of orchards, and during the plum blossom festival, you can roam around, enjoy the fragrance of the plum blossoms and have some local delicacies. It is possible to buy the famous umeboshi to add a sour taste to your cooked rice. It's a rural experience a bit difficult to get to but a worthwhile experience away fro the Kyoto crowds.
