The geological characteristics of the fossil forest are introduced in the Sendai Branch of the Geological Society of Japan. It is a geologically valuable and mysterious place. Please be careful about falling rocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 青葉の森の中にあります。多少下った場所。小さな滝がすぐそばにあり雰囲気が良い。貝殻の化石の石が見られます。階段下りの途中にも化石の地層あり。
It is in the forest of Aobanomori. A place that went down a little. There is a small waterfall right next to it and the atmosphere is good. You can see fossil stones of shells. There is also a fossil stratum on the way down the stairs.
