忠	忠雄金山 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 魹ヶ崎灯台に行くために、駐車場を利用させて貰いました。灯台への遊歩道入口は、海方面に200mほど行った左手にあります。 10月10日の平日に訪問したので、誰もおらず貸切状態でした。トイレも炊事場も綺麗で無料ですが、デイキャンプのみとのこと。夜は街灯もなく真っ暗で、月が明るい夜でしたが星がたくさん見えました。往きは宮古市方面から来て、山田方面へ帰りましたが、道は宮古市方面の方が走りやすかったです。夏にまた来てみたい。 I was asked to use a parking lot to go to the Karugasaki Lighthouse. The promenade entrance to the lighthouse is on the left, about 200m towards the sea. I visited on a weekday of October 10, so nobody was there and it was reserved. The toilet and kitchen are clean and free, but only at day camp. At night there were no streetlights, it was pitch black, the moon was bright, but I could see many stars. On the way out, I came from the direction of Miyako City and returned to the direction of Yamada, but the direction of Miyako City was easier to drive. I want to come again in summer.

Equipped with water, kitchen, Kamado, and washlet. Parking lot for 60 cars. A 2.6km walking route is available to the easternmost monument, lighthouse, observatory, shore, and toilet (prohibited) in Honshu. There is no doubt that it will be bright and windy! ️?
R	Robin Spooner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This area is really beautiful and the campground area is nice and clean. There’s a great pavilion, cooking area, and really nice bathrooms. But for the life of me I can’t figure out why there’s so many signs that say no camping and day use only, but it looks like there’s a camping registry and the michinoku coastal trail map seems to indicate it’s for camping. Is it a campground just for backpackers? I would love to see some clarification. The hike from here to the lighthouse was great. There have been some rockslides and you have to scramble on two short sections. It wasn’t bad though. The first maybe 3/4km was super steep and then the rest of the hike levels out. Pretty wide path and basically no stairs. Was much easier than the other hikes I’ve done on the Sanriku Coast lol.
