c	chris h on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this little gem while looking for good coffee around Ueno. First of: Have the cheesecake. It is absolutely fantastic and it would be a shame to miss out on it. The owner was very friendly and told us about his craft with the help of a translating App. He learned his coffee making skills from his teacher in Kobe and makes sure to serve you a very delicious cup of coffee in one of his special mugs. The brewing process even comes with it's own soundtrack! We say Danke!

Service was very good granted we couldn't speak any Japanese but the barista was very accomodating regardless. If you choose a hot coffee you'd be able to select which type of cup you get to use too (some nice traditional looking ones won't hurt). To top it off, the gluck cheesecake was the best cheesecake of our trip! Rich and tasty and a soft base crust. Would've bought a whole cake of it home if we weren't still walking around for hours. Highly recommended!

He has only a few options but they are all delicious. I'd say that if you like coffee you shouldn't miss this place if you stop by Tokyo.

The owner is very passionate about his craft, and told us he learnt from his mentor, the creator of butter coffee from Kobe! He took the time to explain everything through Google Translate, from the cups down to the pearls attached to our spoons.

Also the no bake cheesecake is one you should not miss! It's the exact recipe of House of Flavours cheesecake of Kamakura, which is the most "prestigious" cheesecake in Japan. So rich so smooth, and not too sweet! Also, the owner is such a lovely guy, very talkative. He's also a table ware collector, you get to choose your own cup for your coffee, and they are all just so cute and pretty.

It’s not the sour type but has a smooth and warm flavor to it. Ordered the Kuching cake and I think the texture is more of a bread than cake. It’s has a nice salty cheese layer on top of the soft bread and hand whipped sweet cream adding a nice flavor and richness to it. Recommend if you are looking for a good cup of coffee and enjoy some quietness from then busy street. *you need to walk inside the block to get to the shop!
