処方箋調剤はありません。(この辺りで調剤が必要な場合は、このお店の向かいに調剤薬局があります)
薬品や薬類は基本的なものが一通り手に入ります。そして、雑貨類もそれなりに充実しています。
飲み物などは安定的に安いですし、おむつなどの品物や、介護用消耗品なども置いてあり助かっています。
ただ、種類は結構がんばって置いてくれていますが、ひとつの品物の在庫量がそれほど多い訳では無く、しばしば売り切れが目立つことがあります。
ほかのドラッグストアに対する特徴は、中に農産物生産者直売所があること。
これはこのお店の設立経緯にもよるのですが、ここの場所は元々、Aコープ高森店があった場所です。
その跡にこのアメリカンドラッグができたのですが、元々Aコープで行われていた農産物直売所が引き継がれたという訳です。あまり大量に品物が出る事はありませんが、季節の野菜を買うことができます。さらに、お盆、お彼岸シーズンには、産直組合と地元JAによる、お盆花の特設テントが設置されることがあります。
また、同じくAコープ跡の経緯から、JAのATMが併設されています。
