福部らっきょう加工センター前の県道海士交差点を横断して海士集落に歩いて入りました。「海士農村公園」は中海士集落内の神社少し手前、交差する道沿いにあります。県道が少しだけ見下ろせる場所で砂山の梺です。公園の東屋のベンチに座り一休みしていますと、そよ風が松林の間を通り抜けて私の頬を撫でて行きます。アスレチック風の滑り台側の着地付近の草むらに子供用お菓子の食べた後の新しい小さなプラスチック袋が一つ、草に絡まり落ちています。可愛らしく微笑ましく思いました。子供たちにとっての遊び場であり、また公園は水道の側に長く丸まったビニールホースが置いてあり草木への水の補給が砂地のせいで頻繁に行われる様子です。大変です。「海士農村公園」は居心地よい公園でそれは地域の方々の普段からのお世話のお陰です。
