There is an autumn festival around the first Sunday of October.
The lion, 3m high and 28m long, is one of the largest in Japan (the same is the same as Mikicho Hikami Hachimangu). A small female lion appears.
Many general lion dances participate, and Kyokochi's headwear is unique.

Amano Myojin (Niutsuhime Shrine) is a god that Koyasan Kukai worshiped as the guardian deity of Koyasan when he founded Kongobuji Temple on Koyasan. I used to name it.
This place has some kind of deep relationship with Mt. Koya, and it is probable that the place where Amano Myojin (Niutsuhime Shrine) was enshrined before the Kamakura period was named Takano.
According to the records of the shrine (Miyoshi family), the Hachiman god of Aiden is solicited by Emperor Yozei and the Inoue shrine in Chikuzen during the year of the Gango (877-885). According to the report, when Nobuyoshi Matsubara of Inoue Village was a former turtle Tensho (1570-1591), he built a shrine to receive the Tsuboi Hachiman god from Kawachi and dedicated it. As mentioned above, since this shrine enshrines two gods, the annual festival is held for two days on October 14th and 15th (three days with the evening festival), and the portable shrine is also held twice.
In addition to Amano Shrine, the Inoue Hachiman shrine area is also known as Takano Hachiman because this shrine has Inoue Village, Hiraki Village, and Kabushi Village (Inoue Township) as its sons.
