宮	宮本康弘 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天野明神(丹生都比売命)は弘法大師空海が高野山に金剛峯寺を創建した時に高野山の守護神として尊祟した神であり高野山の荘園(領地)には天野明神を祀り、その地を高野と名づけるのが常でありました。当所は高野山とのあいだに何等かの深い関係があり恐らく鎌倉時代以前に天野明神(丹生都比売命)が祀られ所を高野と名づけられたものと思われます。相殿の八幡神(誉田和気尊)は社家(三好家)の記録によれば陽成天皇、元慶年中(877～885年)に筑前の筥崎神社より勧請せりとあるが、全讃岐史によれば井上村の松原五郎信義が元亀天正(1570～1591年)の頃、河内より壷井八幡神を迎へ祠を建て之を奉ずとの記述があります。以上の如く当神社は二神を祀るので、その例祭は毎年十月十四、十五日の二日間(宵祭ともで三日間)あり神輿渡御も二度行われています。また当神社は井上村、平木村、鹿伏村(井上郷)を氏子とする神社なので天野神社の他に井上八幡宮域は高野八幡の別名があります。主な境内末社諏訪神社(建御名方神) 若宮神社(仁徳天皇) 三宝荒神社(素戔鳴尊) 天満宮(菅原道真) 出雲神社(大国主命他) Amano Myojin (Niutsuhime Shrine) is a god that Koyasan Kukai worshiped as the guardian deity of Koyasan when he founded Kongobuji Temple on Koyasan.
