伊豆の宇佐美の書斎も再現されています。
入場無料、コインロッカーもあります。
作品の内レコード大賞5回、手掛けた作品は五千曲余りです。
レコード大賞は 「また逢う日まで 」「北の宿から」「勝手にしやがれ」「UFO」「雨の慕情」です。
知らない曲があまりない事に驚きました。自然と脳内再生出来て、その情景が頭に浮かび、女の情念が伝わる演歌など、この方の作詞された曲は心に沁みます。
個人的にはたそがれマイラブが大好きなのですが、こちらで1978年の作品と知ってショックでした。もっとずっと新しいと思っていました。
名曲は何年経っても古く感じず、新鮮です。
最近は自分が歳を取ったのか感性がなくなり、新しいCDの発売を待ちわびるワクワク感も随分少なくなりました。阿久悠氏のような多方面の作詞が出来る偉大な方がこの先、出て来てくれるといいです。

Personally, I love Tasogare My Love, but I was shocked to know that it was a 1978 work. I thought it was much newer.
The masterpieces don't feel old and fresh even after many years.
Recently, I've lost my sensibility as to whether I'm getting older, and the excitement of waiting for the release of a new CD has decreased considerably. I hope that a great person like Yu Aku who can write lyrics in various fields will come out in the future.

これだけ様々なジャンルでその才能を発揮できる作詞家は、なかなかいないと思います。記念館ではご本人の書斎のレプリカやレコード大賞のトロフィーなどか展示されています。
視聴コーナーもあり、懐かしい昭和の音楽にどっぷりと浸かることが出来ました。
阿久悠さんの作詞家としての才能が取り沙汰されがちですが、過去のいい音楽は、歌手と作曲家の才能が合わさって始めて出来上がるものです。これだけヒット作を生み出したのは偶然ではなく、作曲家や歌手などの周囲の人にも恵まれたのだろうと思いました。

年譜や自筆原稿、復元された書斎などの展示があるが、彼が作詞した５千曲のうち、５百曲ほどのリストも凄い。個人的には、その三分の一は、部分的にであれ知っていた。まことに大衆文化の中の巨人だった。

懐かしいあの曲もその曲も阿久さんの作詞だった。表にある歌、全部歌えるわ～。
同年代の友人と行けば、盛り上がる事必至。
ここで曲が流れていたらな～、残念。
若い世代も聞きなじみのあるはずだけど、静寂の中で年表だけ見ても退屈かもしれません。もともとが研究施設だから仕方ないのか。
