Ako Royal Hotel - Ako

The food is seasonal and delicious. It's not a hot spring. The room is small. It is an urban business hotel. It has a wedding hall.

I stayed during the bike touring. I am grateful that the parking lot is large and free. This hotel has a nice view in front of the castle toes of Ako. The room was facing south and the castle was visible through the wide windows in the corridor. The facility is old, but overall it is kept clean. The Wifi signal was not very strong and there were some places in the room that were difficult to grasp. Breakfast is Japanese food with local ingredients. It was delicious.

I used this hotel for the first time in about 10 years the night before to go to the Okayama International Circuit the next day. It is about 10 minutes after getting off the Ako IC on the Sanyo Expressway. The parking lot is flat and easy to park. There are no convenience stores or restaurants within walking distance, but if you drive a little, you will find restaurants and gas stations. There is Ako Municipal Hospital nearby, but I have never felt that the ambulance is noisy. The lobby is large and looks like an inn, so it doesn't look like a business hotel. The staff are very responsive and infection control is perfect. The room is larger than the route-in that I often use, but the soundproofing is worse than anything else, and I can hear the voice from the corridor, the sound of the door closing, and the snoring of the next room. It is not highly recommended for people who value soundproofing. The air conditioning of the equipment in the room was old and it was a little hard to sleep because the room was hot even if I lowered it by setting the temperature. Wireless Wi-Fi is available, but it's too slow and painful. A wired LAN is also included. The large communal bath is large and easy to use, but it seems that the maximum number of females is about 5 and it is small. This time, the departure in the morning was late, so I made a plan with breakfast, but a large set of side dishes was served, and rice, miso soup, and drinks were self-service. I didn't expect it because I expected a buffet style like route-in, but I'm satisfied with this style. It was the correct answer for the plan with breakfast.

It's about 35 years old, so it's undeniably old, but considering the price, the cost is high. Parking lot Both bicycle parking lots are outdoors but free of charge. Heavy rain seems impossible at the bike parking lot, but there was a roof that could withstand light rain. Use a single non-smoking room without meals. In recent business hotels, there is a place like zero place to spread luggage, but this is a hotel in Showa, it is spacious even for singles, and it seems that it will not get in the way even if you go with a large suitcase for long-term stay. Is it because there is no heater on the toilet seat? It is unusual for the toilet to be equipped with a disposable toilet seat cover. The unit bath in the room has the smell of plumbing because of its age, and although it is cleaned properly, it is honestly not good. However, there is a bathhouse on the 2nd floor, and the women's bath is narrow with 5 washrooms, but when I went there on weekday evenings, it was very comfortable because there were no other guests and it was reserved. Family Mart is about 5 minutes on foot. There is a large bakery called "Akopan" near it, and I bought some, but they were all delicious, so I recommend them.

The facility is old and the large communal bath is not a hot spring, but the food for dinner is the best. Compared to the hot spring inns near Ako Misaki, it's quite reasonable, and if you're looking for food, you're quite convinced!

A relaxing hotel with a large communal bath. Even though dinner is Japanese, it is very satisfying with sashimi tempura steak. Breakfast was also very delicious, such as Japanese bento-style rice, miso soup, and coffee, and I want to go there again. It's convenient because all the employees are kind and close to Ako Castle.
