B	Benji Sun Moxie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the museum is just a single room on the 3rd floor. nothing was open. the dogs were not there when i visited. it's still an interesting museum, but mildly disappointed in the lack of dogs.

The upstairs museum bit is interesting, but you learn that for a long time, the people used Akitas for dog fighting. I suppose for 200 yen, it's not too bad, but the dogs seriously made me sad to be here.
G	G Luan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have an Akita dog so decided to take a trip to Odate, Akita. It is very informative and appreciate the breed. We took a taxi from the train station and the cost is about $10. The staff are friendly and called a cab for us in order to get back.

L	Lowell Larm on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only have 3 live Akita dogs at there. Other area are mainly to show their historical spicies. Not too interested at all. 200 yens per person. You can spend 15 minutes to end the tour.
M	Mike Lam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting visit to the Akita Dog Museum. Ground floor is an office with sourvenirs available for sale. The museum is on the third level. There are usually a couple of dogs there but they are sometimes away. We were lucky they were around when we visited. Small group of 7 persons.
