★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は火産霊神（ほむすびのかみ）です。善光寺七福神の一つ、福禄寿とされています。福（幸福）、禄（財運）、寿（長寿）を授けてくれる神とのことです。火災除けの秋葉神社にまつられる三尺坊（天狗）は、福と禄と寿の御神徳があると言われ、福禄寿の化身とされているとのことです。毎年８月２３日は「地蔵盆」で社殿扉が開けられ内部を見ることができるそうです。内部には天狗像が二体あるとのことで、一体は大天狗、もう一体は小天狗とのことです。天狗像の後ろには風神、雷神の彫物があるとのことです。
