★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 草津城（くさつじょう）とは広島市西区草津地区にあった日本の城（山城）で、創建時ははっきりしていないが、戦国時代、安芸武田氏、大内氏、厳島神社神主家（佐伯氏→藤原氏）、陶氏、毛利氏が競って奪い合った城である。神武天皇期、草津の港を戦津（いくさつ）と呼んで、古代から水軍、水運などの重要拠点としたため、戦国時代になってさらに重要性が増した。
Kusatsu Castle is a Japanese castle (Yamashiro) located in the Kusatsu district of Nishi-ku, Hiroshima City. It was not clear at the time of its construction, but during the Warring States period, Mr. Aki Takeda, Mr. Ouchi, and the Gakushima Shrine priest (Kusatsujo) Mr. Saeki → Mr. Fujiwara), Mr. Sue, and Mr. Mouri competed for the castle. During the Emperor Jimmu period, the port of Kusatsu was called Ikusatsu, and since ancient times it has been an important base for the navy and water transportation, so it became even more important during the Warring States period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ たまたま散歩の途中で看板を見つけて登ってみました。携帯の基地局しかない? こんなとこにお城?？ って感じでしたが、説明を読むとなるほどなと。バイパスの隣で意識したことがなかったので意外に良かったです。鈴が峰住宅が見えました。筍が出てました。反対側から降りれるかなと思ったのですが、マンション敷地に降りそうなので止めました。
