★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 英国人旅行家イザベラバードの日本奥地紀行にも登場する大内ダムをさらに上った所にある峠。ここから市野集落への下りは素晴らしい！
This pass is located further up the Ouchi Dam, which also appears in the travels of the British traveler Isabella Bird to the Japanese outback. The downhill route from here to the Ichino Village is wonderful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 親類が美里町の旭地区にあり住まいの埼玉県からの距離が一番近いので何回か自動車で通行しました。舗装済なのですが道幅は狭いです。
峠からの展望は有りませんが美里町側の山の開けた場所からは会津盆地や遠く万年雪を被った飯豊山が見れます。
所要時間は直ぐ東側の氷玉峠から福永へ抜けるか下郷町(湯野上温泉)から国道121号を北に向かい上三寄(会津鉄道芦ノ牧温泉駅近く)から抜けた方が早そうです。安全運転でお通りください。
