★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 向羽栗山城跡整備資料室でスタンプ(24時間対応）を押してから車で羽黒山神社→二の曲輪→岩崎山弁天→本丸と移動できます。
所々、車両を停車できるスペースなども有るので下車しながら散策をすることも出来て山城でしたが大変さは感じませんでした。
東日本最大級の山城というだけあって徒歩散策ですとそれなりの時間が必要かなと思います。
続100名城になってからは山城が多く、こちらの城も山城を登よりも、現地に到着するまでは電車組には厳しい城かと思います。

公共期間を利用する方は、最寄り駅は只見線の会津本郷駅だがいかんせん本数がない。そのため距離はありますが会津鉄道の南若松駅やバスも考えると良いでしょう。
登城口からは車道が城址を巡っているので、車で来た場合は、非常に見て回るのが楽な城址です。最初は城址を貫いているのでなんでっと思いましたが、歩いても道に迷う事無く行けるので良かったです。一番の見所は二曲輪下の水の手でしょう。
虎口や堀も多く歩きまわると結構な時間が必要です。
この城を見て蘆名氏の勢力がわかった気がします
It is a castle that has been selected as one of the 00 famous castles in Japan, and is a nationally designated historic site.
For those who use the public period, the nearest station is Aizu Hongo Station on the Tadami Line, but there are no trains. Therefore, although there is a distance, it is a good idea to consider Aizu Railway's Minami-Wakamatsu Station and buses.
The driveway runs around the castle ruins from the entrance, so if you come by car, it is very easy to see the castle ruins. At first, I was wondering why it pierced the ruins of the castle, but I'm glad that I could go without getting lost even if I walked. The highlight is probably the water hands under the two Kuruwa.
It takes a lot of time to walk around the tiger mouth and moat.
Looking at this castle, I feel that I understood the power of Ashina.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この城は永禄１１（１５６８）年、この地の戦国大名であった蘆名盛氏が自らの隠居城として築き、黒川（若松）城から移り住んだ城です。
その後廃城になったとも、蘆名氏滅亡後にこの地を治めた伊達政宗や蒲生氏郷、上杉景勝などにより支城として使われたとも伝わっています。
この城を訪れた際は、事情により山上まで続く道路は封鎖され、向羽黒ギャラリーから比高１８４メートルを徒歩で登り城内を散策することとなりました。
当日は曇り空で磐梯山は見ることができませんでしたが、城内の紅葉を楽しみながら、三曲輪から一曲輪、二曲輪の空堀や崩れかけた石垣、庭園跡などを、ゆっくり見て廻ることができました。
This castle was built in 1568 by Ashina Moriuji, who was a warring lord of the area, as his own retired castle, and moved from Kurokawa (Wakamatsu) castle.
It is said that the castle was abandoned after that, but it was used as a branch castle by Date Masamune, Gamo Ujisato, and Uesugi Kagekatsu, who ruled the area after the fall of Ashina.
When I visited this castle, the road leading to the mountain was blocked due to circumstances, and I had to walk up 184 meters in height from Mukaihaguro Gallery to take a walk in the castle.
I couldn't see Mt. Bandai in the cloudy sky on the day, but while enjoying the autumn colors in the castle, I could slowly look around the empty moat of three to one and two Kuruwa, the crumbling stone wall, and the ruins of the garden. I did.

This Mukaihaguro Yamashiro is the most recommended for those who want to learn the basic structure of Yamashiro. The remains of Tatebori are just wonderful. The view from the main enclosure is also good, so please climb it once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自分は車で行き山上の駐車場に止めて、城全体を周りました。
東北最大規模の山城にして、黒川城（会津若松）の詰め城。圧倒的な縄張りに驚きました。竪堀、土塁などの遺構も見受けられ、山城マニアの方は必見です。
注意点は、とにかく広大なことです。自分の感覚では全ての縄張り・曲輪を見るには軽く4時間以上必要と感じました。初めて行く人は縄張り図持参は必須です。広過ぎるので確実に迷います。自販機なども山上にないので、お茶なども絶対に持っていた方が良いです。また夏に行ったからかもしれませんが、大量の蜘蛛の巣と蚊に悩まされました。
個人的には、時間が足りなくて見切れなかったので、もう一度リベンジしたいです。

Kurokawa Castle (Aizuwakamatsu) is the largest mountain castle in Tohoku. I was surprised at the overwhelming territory. Remains such as Tatebori and earthworks can be seen, and it is a must-see for Yamashiro enthusiasts.
The caveat is that it's vast. I felt that it took more than 4 hours to see all the territories and kuruwa. If you are going for the first time, you must bring a territory map. It's too wide, so I'm definitely lost. There are no vending machines on the mountain, so you should definitely bring tea. Maybe because I went there again in the summer, I was plagued by a large number of spider webs and mosquitoes.
Personally, I didn't have enough time to finish it, so I would like to revenge again.

散策コースとしては整備されており、かつての堀切、曲輪の跡が偲ばれます。
ところどころ熊出没注意の看板があります。
麓の本郷インフォメーションセンターにて見所などを教えてもらえますので、聞いてから散策すると良いでしょう。
Yamashiro was once one of the largest in eastern Japan.
It is well maintained as a walking course, and the traces of the former Horikiri and Kuruwa are remembered.
There are signs to warn bears here and there.
The Hongo Information Center at the foot of the mountain will tell you the highlights, so it's a good idea to take a walk after listening.

車で行けるのであまり歩かなくて良い。展望良い。山中にアスレチックがあるのでファミリーでもよろしいか、と。
