★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神社の入口階段の両脇に、巨大な杉が二本立っています。
特に左側の杉は、右側と対で有ったであろう石垣を壊すほど根元が張り出していて迫力が有ります。この幹の太さだけでなく根を含めた存在感は、関市の「坊地の一本杉」と共に死ぬまでに一度は見て感じておいた方が良い巨樹だと思います。
巨樹に尊敬の念を抱き各地を巡っていますが、どれも何百年も生きていて、中には千年を大きく超える巨樹もあり御神木となっている樹も沢山あります。それ故に数十年しか生きていない私達が星を付け評価する事の傲慢さと無意味さを日々感じながらも、感想を書かせて頂いております。
 Two huge cedars stand on both sides of the entrance stairs of the shrine.
In particular, the cedar on the left side is powerful enough to break the stone wall that would have been paired with the right side. I think that the presence of not only the thickness of the trunk but also the roots should be seen and felt at least once before dying together with "Ipponsugi of Bochi" in Seki City.
I travel around the country with respect for the giant trees, but all of them have lived for hundreds of years, and some of them are over a thousand years old, and many of them are sacred trees. Therefore, while feeling the arrogance and meaninglessness of starring and evaluating us, who have lived for only a few decades, I am writing my impressions.
