安	安藤正和 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名鉄神宮前駅から久しぶりに瑞穂区役所方面に歩いている途中で見つけました。瑞陵高校正門の横に以外と広々としています。杉浦千畝さんはてっきり岐阜だと思っていましたが、小学校、旧制中学校は名古屋だったとは知りませんでした。現瑞陵高校の卒業生だそうです。しかもこの広場の設置のもともとの発起人は瑞陵高校の生徒だとか。さすが千畝さんの後輩も素晴らしいですねぇ。 I found in the middle of walking in Mizuho Ward Office towards the first time in a long time from Meitetsu Jingumae Station. 森	森昭二 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 杉原千畝の顕彰施設ですが、想像していたよりもなかり濃い内容でした。命のビザ発給を中心に杉原さんの生涯を紹介していますが、杉原さん以外にもユダヤ人難民の避難に尽力した多くの人を紹介しています。そして、母校での展示施設であるだけに第五中学時代を紹介した「人間形成の時代」の部分はかなり充実していて他では見られないものだと思います。杉原さんは岐阜県八百津町の出身ですが、お父さんが税務署で働いていたために転勤が多く、杉原少年も何度も転校していたそうです。そのため小学校と中学校は名古屋の学校を卒業しています。そんな杉原さんにとって、名古屋は生まれ故郷の八百津よりも馴染みのある場所だったのではないでしょうか？もっともそんなことは本人に聞いてみないと分かりませんが(笑)。いずれにせよ、機会があれば、またここに来ようと思います。 It is an award-winning facility of Chika Sugihara, but it was a rather rich content than I had imagined.
