T	Tamsin Milroy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An inexpensive place to learn how to make a clay bowl. A 15 minute tutorial is given before you start - it is very clear but is completely in Japanese. Tools and equipment are provided in the workshop and the staff/tutors are very helpful if needed. A very satisfying 90 minutes. The museum has a range of exhibits however there was no English translations available. The shop was disappointing in terms of choice and price. Worth the trip purely for the making. You do have to collect your pottery a month after making. It is possible to get it sent to a location in Japan though if you are a resident.
B	Brandon Garrett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing pottery with the literal oldest stuff ever discovered - some peices are nearly 10000 years old - if you are an enthusiast this is the place to be. There are a large variety of peices to look at and despite the location being relatively hard to access from a major city I would consider this a worthwhile venture for an enthusiast.
