全体的な学力や偏差値は低めですが、どうやら1-1だけは他の進学校と大差ない学力を持っているようです。1-2の一部も、かなり学力は高いようです。頭の良さに関しても1-1や1-2はずば抜けて良いようです。
また、高校に入ってから学力が大きく伸びる生徒も居るようなので、一概にそれ以外の学力が低いとは言えないようです。まぁ、自頭の良さはどうしようもないので、そこはやっぱり1組と2組が強かったということにしておきましょう。

愛知県の県立工業高校としてはトップクラスだと思われる、本科卒業1期生(2019年3月卒)の進学先・就職先の動向いかんによってはその地位を確定させるものと見られる。
旧校(愛知工業・東山工業)卒業生は文化祭とか体育祭見に行っても良いのかは知らないが。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 生徒による説明、生徒の制作した映像、とても自主性を感じました。廊下はガラス張りで教室がみえますが、機械を並べ「見える化」してます。廊下の黒い掲示板が好きです。マグネットは貼れる、チョークで描ける、映像は映し出せるので万能ですね。
