The staff did not speak much English but did every effort to make everything perfect the food was fantastic matter fact order twice the food was so good. I'm pretty sure if I understood I ate some horse it didn't matter everything was delicious. I was staying at Reiah Hotel Otsu Ishiyama and the restaurant is right out the door going towards McDonald's. If you're not staying in the area the restaurant is literally 2 minutes from the subway stop, very convenient.
