★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古民家は良く保存されていますが、冬に行っては駄目。ものすごく寒くて昔の人の苦労が判ります。郷土館の展示は楽しめます。
 Old folk houses are well preserved, but don't go in the winter. It's extremely cold and you can see the hardships of old people. You can enjoy the exhibition at the local museum.

１階は道具など懐かしい物がたくさんありました!
On the second floor there were various materials of Constitution of Gokaichi, the history of Gofuka was felt.
There were lots of nostalgic things such as tools on the first floor!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 滅多に観覧者に会った事が無いくらい空いています！目玉は目の前に有る茅葺き屋根の昔の建物です！別の所に有った民家をここに移築したらしい！土間に釜戸、囲炉裏、木造の戸袋、懐かしい気持ちになれます！
It's so vacant that I rarely meet the viewers! The highlight is the old building with a thatched roof in front of you! It seems that a private house in another place was relocated here! You can feel nostalgic for Kamado, hearth, and wooden door pockets in the dirt floor!

炭、野鳥、動物等、他の市の郷土館と比べ自然に関する展示が充実していた気がしました。
レジャー等で山に行くと、駅周辺は通り道になりがちと思われますが、ブラブラして良かったです。そして無料です！
I had some time to do the main errands, but I enjoyed it.
I felt that there were more exhibits related to nature, such as charcoal, wild birds, and animals, compared to the local museums of other cities.
When I go to the mountains for leisure, it seems that the area around the station tends to be a path, but I'm glad I wandered around. And it's free!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022.3.6.訪問。五日市郷土館の2階に郷土の偉人が展示されていた。五日市憲法など難しいことはよくわからないが、萩原タケという人物が偉大なのはよくわかった。日本のナイチンゲール？だったかな。立派な看護師だったようだ。
2022.3.6. Visit. A great local man was exhibited on the 2nd floor of the Gokaichi Folk Museum. I don't know how difficult the Gokaichi Constitution is, but I understand that Take Hagiwara is great. Japanese nightingale? I wonder if it was. It seems that he was a good nurse.
