★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ご主人が一人でやってる地元の古くからある下駄屋さん。会津は桐で有名ですので、会津本郷の帰り桐下駄を買いました。￥6000円程度でした。鼻尾が伸び東京から送ったら送料がかかりましたが無料で直ぐに直してくれました。ネットで買った会津桐下駄はあっちこっち欠けますが、ここのは欠けにくいようです。
A local geta shop that my husband runs alone. Aizu is famous for paulownia, so I bought paulownia geta on the way back from Aizu Hongo. It was about 6000 yen. When my nose was stretched and I sent it from Tokyo, it cost me a shipping fee, but he fixed it immediately for free. The Aizu paulownia clogs I bought online are missing here and there, but it seems that they are hard to chip here.

冬にはアザラシの毛の爪掛のついた時雨履きも並びます。
金具の付け替えなど修理もして下さいます。浅草中の履き物屋を回りましたが、草履の修理を受ける店でも下駄の修理をしてくれる所はありませんでした。
絶対に無くなっては困るお店です!!

昔ながらの店内と職人タイプ?のご主人から鼻緒選びや下駄のアドバイスで、その場で足に合わせてもらいました。いままで持っていた市販の下駄と違って、自分の足に合っているのでとても履き心地が良かった事に驚いたのと、自分の好みの柄の鼻緒に満足しました。とてもよい買い物ができました。(*^^*)

日頃から着物を着るんですが、下駄や草履が欲しいなと思って来訪。
お店に入ると、所狭しと並んだ下駄！下駄！下駄！
草履もたくさんありましたが、彼方からずっと憧れのあった2本歯の下駄を2つ頂戴しました。
店主のおじさんも気さくで人柄よく、試着から板の見分け方まで丁寧に丁寧に対応してくれました。
こんなにワクワクする買い物を久々にできました?
また娘にも試し履きさせてくれたり、お菓子をくださったり、本当によくしていただきました。
すっかり娘も気に入ったようで、買った私の下駄を履いて走り回ってます?
お会計の時のレジも博物館にあるようなものを使用されていて、凄く貴重なものを見せていただけました。
これからも会津若松に来るたびに、ここのお店に寄らせていただきたいなと思います。

鼻緒を選びすげてもらう、職人の技を世間話しながら自然に仕事し終えてる
手順の美しさと下駄を送り出す心と、なんだかなぁー、こんな素敵なもの買わせてもらってありがとうございます。
私の下駄は9500円、娘のは7500円、本場会津の桐下駄ですよ、これはお安い！
短時間とはいえ人との触れ合いを感じて、大切にできるものを買わせてもらって、私の中の小さな会津になりました。
