★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大河が終わって訪れる人も減ってきているのか物静かな城跡。
城跡を見るのであれば秋から冬の雪が降る前が良いです。
夏場は草が生い茂り刈っていないと堀切などの確認が難しくなります。
The quiet castle ruins are the number of visitors decreasing after the taiga.
If you want to see the ruins of the castle, it is good before the snow falls from autumn to winter.
In summer, it will be difficult to check for digging if the grass is not overgrown.

与板城は標高104m比高85mほどの山城で戦国時代には直江氏の居城となっていました。別名で直江城とも言います。
中世の山城らしく連続する堀切や土塁が残っており、主郭には神社が祀られています。

Yoita Castle is a mountain castle with an altitude of 104m and a relative height of 85m, and was the residence of Mr. Naoe during the Warring States period. Also known as Naoe Castle.
A series of moat and earthworks that are typical of a medieval mountain castle remain, and a shrine is enshrined in the main enclosure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大手口方向から登りましたが、結構急で疲れました。いい運動。音声案内があるとは、びっくりしました。
I climbed from the direction of the main entrance, but I was tired quite quickly. Good exercise. I was surprised that there was audio guidance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 直江兼続の居城です。駐車場あります。駐車場のところに直江兼続館跡の案内あり。山城への道は綺麗に整備されており歩きやすいです。
It is the residence of Naoe Kanetsu. There's a parking lot. At the parking lot, there is a guide of the Naoe Kanseikan trace. The road to Yamashiro is beautifully maintained and easy to walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大河で天地人をしていた時に近くの兼続お船ミュージアムへは来たことが有りましたが、城跡へは行けてませんでした。
大手口より登城、暫く人が通っていないのか蜘蛛の巣のオンパレード。登山口に有った杖を借りて来れば良かったと後悔。
然しながら、整備はしっかりされているので、危険な箇所はゼロ。15分ほどで本丸跡に到着。
時間の都合で本丸から先へ行けなかったのが残念ですが、本丸と二ノ丸の空堀も意外と大きく、三ノ丸の先の大空堀が気になって仕方が無いです。
最後の3枚の写真は別の登り口で、恐らくお船の泉?の有る登り口だと思います。本丸少し手前で大手口からの道と合流します。

From the main entrance to the castle, people have not been passing for a while or on a parade of spider webs. I regret that I should have borrowed the cane that I had at the climbing gate.
However, since maintenance is firm, there are no dangerous places. Arrive at Honmaru in about 15 minutes.
It is a pity that I could not go ahead from Honmaru due to the time, but the hollows of Honmaru and Ninomaru are surprisingly large, and I can not help but wonder about the empty moat ahead of Sannomaru.
The last 3 photos are another ascent, and I think it is probably a well with a ship fountain. I will join the road from the main entrance a little before Motomaru.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 整備されていて親子連れにも向いています。秋には落葉にドングリがたくさん。お船の清水は立入禁止になっています。
It is well maintained and suitable for parents and children. There are a lot of acorns on the fallen leaves in autumn. Shimizu on the ship is off limits.
