★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お地蔵様にお供えした塩を付けるとイボが取れるとの言い伝えがあるそうです。江戸時代に、小名木川や行徳道を通る商人たちが、この地蔵の前で休憩し、商売繁昌、航海安全を願って塩を供えたのが始まりだそうです。別名「いぼ取り地蔵」。
