岡山市、倉敷市からでも城壁と西門が目視で確認出来ます
 It is built with stone walls and earthworks spreading over the west gate of Kinojo Castle.
Together with the west gate, it is a symbolic remains of Kinojo Castle.
You can visually check the walls and the west gate even from Okayama City and Kurashiki City.

下記の方はここへの立ち入りは難しいです。
・車でしかいけませんが まず 鬼ノ城への道は 激狭な山道しかありません。
すれ違えない箇所ばかりです。
車運転初心者の方 お控えください
(終始 1台分の広さしかない道が続きます。すれ違えない場合 どちらかが 道を譲らねばなりませんが 非常に困難です。
もたもたしている内に後続車などきたら 二重苦となります。
運転テクニックがある程度必要です)
・可能ならバイクでの訪れをすすめます
(上記記載通り 向かうには車では困難だからです。バイクでしたら 狭い山道でも 困ることはありません)
・幅広の車で向かうのは 遠慮して欲しいです。
何回も記載しますが 狭い山道が4-5キロ続きます。すれ違えない可能性が大です。
1台が躓く(動かなくなると) 皆が迷惑します。軽自動車推奨します。
道中の苦労が吹き飛ぶ景色
お城跡がここにはあります。
が 辿り着くまで 厳しい戦いが必ず待っております。
人気がでればでるほど 厳しいところになってきます…

・ You can only drive, but first of all, the road to Kinojo Castle is only a very narrow mountain road.
There are only places where you can't pass each other.
Please refrain from driving beginners
(The road is only one car wide from beginning to end. If you can't pass each other, one of them has to give way, but it's very difficult.
It will be a double pain if a following car comes while you are leaning.
Some driving technique is required)
・ If possible, we recommend visiting by motorcycle.
(Because it is difficult to go as described above by car. If you use a motorcycle, you will not have any trouble even on a narrow mountain road.)
・ Please refrain from driving in a wide car.
I will mention it many times, but the narrow mountain road continues for 4-5 km. There is a high possibility that they will not pass each other.
If one stumbles (it doesn't work), everyone is annoyed. Light car is recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 城壁は高い土塁で出来ている。こんな高い城壁を土で造るとは不思議に感じる。石組の方が違和感はない。それにしても丁寧な作りであるが雨にも耐えられているのは驚きである。
唐、新羅軍の攻撃を想定して造ったのだろうか?当時の海は目の前迄来ていたので位置的にも素晴らしい?
The walls are made of high earthworks. It feels strange to build such a high wall out of soil. There is no sense of discomfort in the stone group. Even so, it is a polite construction, but it is surprising that it can withstand rain.
Was it built assuming the attack of the Tang and Silla forces? The sea at that time was right in front of me, so the location is also wonderful ?
