★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旧石器時代、縄文時代、奈良平安時代の遺跡がこの辺り一帯にあったようです。今はその面影は全く無いです。ここで採掘された土器などは日立市郷土博物館で鑑賞できるそうです。
 It seems that there were ruins from the Paleolithic, Jomon, and Nara Heian periods. I don't have that feature right now. The earthenware mined here can be viewed at the Hitachi City Museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高台の団地の中にある遺跡。
公園になっていて樹々や芝生がよく整備されています。
ただ遺跡の説明している看板の劣化が激しいです。また駐車場がないのが難点です。
市内と海への眺めが非常に良いです。古代人はどのような風景を見ていたのかと思いました。
Ruins in a housing complex on a hill.
It is a park with well-maintained trees and lawns.
However, the signboard explaining the ruins is severely deteriorated. Another drawback is that there is no parking lot.
The view to the city and the sea is very good. I wondered what kind of scenery the ancients were looking at.
