所用で、JR武蔵野線 東所沢駅を降り、改札を出て、目の前の道路を左に進み、最初の県道を挟んだ十字路を左に曲がり、800m程進んで左手に福田屋さんがありました。時間的にお昼になっており、入ってみるか!と思い、暖簾をくぐる。「いらっしゃいませ」との掛け声で、空いている席に座ります。家族経営のホッとした感じのお店です。ゆっくりできる畳と座布団のある席とイスの席になります。日本蕎麦屋さんだけあり、蕎麦焼酎やカレーライス等、目移りしますね。ただ所用があるので、お酒は…お預けで、季節限定メニューの「海のカキ汁セイロ」¥1360を頼みます。お茶やお水をお店の方は、気をお気づかいいただきさっと運ばれたり変えたりしていただきます。丁寧な感じです。いよいよ運ばれてきました。いやぁ〜蕎麦の照りが輝いていいですね。早速箸で取ると、細みの蕎麦は、固さ弾力も申し分なくスルスルといけます。まったくくっつかず最後まで保ってました。材料、茹で加減がいい証拠ですね。つけ汁のカキも風味あり、汁もしっかり味付けされ、蕎麦をガッチリつかんでます。その後、お店の方より、蕎麦割が運ばれ、つけに注ぎ、完食です。お店も日曜日ともあり、散策で遠方より来られてそうな方や地元の方が訪れてました。雰囲気も居心地よくゆっくり過ごすのにいいかなっと感じた次第です。
