★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Written as "44 Apartment" at street level, this is a a lovely little restaurant/ cafe on the second floor. There is a food menu as well as coffee and cake. Friendly, young staff add to the chic atmosphere, as does the background music (although if you want silence, this may not be the best place...)
The Cappucino was good, but expect to pay more than usual here (E. G. 580 yen for the Cappucino). If you are a smoker, the rooftop garden is for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place. Proper waiters that look after you. I don’t speak Japanese the main menu is in English. They also have lunch special menu. Not in English but fantastic pictures. What you see is what you get. The food and service is excellent. The coffee was perfect the milk was creamed to perfection I would have liked more froth but nice silky milk like it should be. That barista has skill. I had the burger. The sauce beautiful and the patty may seem small but it’s the perfect size. The burger patty was a perfect not dry at all. The bun was brioche. Baked beautiful. The chips seasoned well and taste fantastic. The price ¥1496 burger, chips and mocha . This is place has a high quality taste with low price. I would like expect this type of flavor and service at a high end restaurant. Well done 44 apartment cafe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was swindled when I came to Apartment 44. Although the atmosphere of the cafe is lovely the staff took 15 minutes to serve me a mediocre "cappuccino" in a paper cup! If a customer is going to sit down in your establishment, I highly suggest you serve them in appropriate mugs or glass-ware. The drink was 650¥ and tastes as well as looks like 250¥.
I would not recommend this cafe at all. The photos are a lie and you will be served a basic overpriced drink at best.
