廣	廣輔影山 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 団地によくある普通の公園です。公園名は、白井に伝わる「名馬生食」の伝説に由来します。なお、「めいばなましょく」とは読まないように。馬刺しが出されたりはしません。 ◆生食（いけずき）と七次の八幡溜（はちまんだめ）源頼朝が平氏打倒にたちあがった頃、のちに生食と名付けられる馬が深井村小袋（柏市付近）で生まれた。深井村から房州峯岡（安房郡丸山町）まで続く広い野原を自分の庭として駆けめぐりながら育ち、時々、七次新田の字野中清水（西白井駅付近）あたりに立ち寄っては、遊んでいた。土地の人々は、その名を知れぬ馬を八幡様の使いと信じ、八幡と呼んだ。またその八幡が水を呑んだ溜池を八幡溜（競馬学校近く）と言った。その後、八幡は、下総の豪族から源頼朝に贈られて愛馬生食となり、宇治川の戦いで、佐々木高綱に与えられ、梶原景季の馬の摺墨と先陣を競った。生食は日本一のうわさどおりに、川を先に渡りきり名誉を勝ち取った。『白井の伝説と文化財』（白井市郷土資料館発行）より It is a common park in the housing complex.
