★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 現在は遺構も残ってはいませんが、発掘調査時の写真が掲示してあります。
なお、女鳥羽川に架かる現在の千歳橋は、江戸時代は大手橋と呼ばれる木橋であったそうで、明治初期に大手門石垣を使った石橋に架け代えられたとのこと（現在は更に改変されていますが）。
