★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小鶴城の規模は、東西350m×南北150mの規模と推定されるが、『仙台領古城書上』には東西60軒×南北36間とされ、『小鶴村風土記』には竪（縦）38間×横27間との記録が残る。主郭と思われる場所は頂部西端と思われ、比高11mの高さである。その東側に二ノ郭・三ノ郭が位置していたとされる。また、城を取巻く形で幅約5mの水堀が存在していた。現在は主郭跡が一部削られ、他の郭も宅地化され遺構は殆ど残っていない。北側の公園がかつての堀跡であり、一部切岸が残っており当時を偲ばせる。
