★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is often busy, for good reason. They make everything from scratch and watching them in the kitchen behind the bar is a delight. They have a broad menu of curries, naan, salad, fried dishes, tandoori chicken, etc. with a good selection of vegetarian options. The owner speaks several languages including very good English and is always willing to make changes to the food on request.
There is not much seating available but there's more on the 2nd floor. In the style of old Japanese shops the restaurant is quite narrow and cramped but they keep it clean and cozy. It can take a while to get your food but that's to be expected with a small kitchen and complicated dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best Indian food I've had in Japan! And super spicy too if you want :) they have excellent Vegetarian options as well. I had the non-vegetarian set.
