私は駅から30分歩きましたが、見たところ無料で使用でき、休日でも満車になる事もなさそうです。
駐車場入り口に小さな茶店もあり、格安での自販機やアイスクリームなどの販売も行われていました。
写真は駐車場の芝生地帯を映したものですが、白い点々はキノコです。
元々は沼や湿地を使って城の堀にしていた岩槻城らしく、土壌の水分が豊富な事が見て取れますね。
It is the second parking lot of Iwatsuki Castle Ruins Park.
I walked for 30 minutes from the station, but apparently it's free to use and it doesn't seem to be full even on holidays.
There was also a small teahouse at the entrance of the parking lot, where vending machines and ice cream were sold at low prices.
The photo shows the lawn area of the parking lot, but the white dots are mushrooms.
You can see that the soil is rich in water, like Iwatsuki Castle, which was originally used as a moat for the castle using swamps and wetlands.

Parking lot at the bottom. There is also a first parking lot just above, but there is no difference in convenience regardless of which one you park.
