★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 表通りから見えない所に有る神社。何時も綺麗にされていて、小さな祠でも近くを通ると参拝しています。最近、賽銭ドロボウから狙われているみたいで、かなり対策をしていますね。泥棒している人、神様も管理する人もみていますよー。覚悟してください。また、他の要件で通り過ぎる人は参拝しましょう。御利益あるかも。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新京橋の西端にひっそりと鎮座されてます。扁額もキチンとあり誰かが管理されてるのでしょうが、今のところ由来等は不明。神殿をよく見ると、彫刻細工の素晴らしさに驚きました。
調べてみると。昭和２６年度岡山市縦横明細地図に、新京橋が掛かる前、国道２５０号が天瀬大通りだった頃。現在の天瀬ポンプ場がある大通り沿いに「四郎九郎稲荷」の記述がありました。
さらに天瀬育ちのご年配に伺うと、ポンプ場建設により現在地へ遷座されたようで、「当時は社倉稲荷（四郎九郎さん）と呼ばれ、火事の時にはコンコンと鳴いて予告してくれる有難い神社」だと、天瀬では厚く信仰されていたそうです。
