★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 歌島橋の交差点の地下にあります。御幣島駅≒歌島橋という感じです。駅を上がると、西淀川区役所があり、地下駐輪場もあるので便利です。
It is located underground at the intersection of Utajima Bridge. It's like Minejima Station ≒ Utashimabashi. When you go up the station, you will find the Nishiyodogawa Ward Office and an underground bicycle parking lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ タクシーロータリーも無く、駅を出ると大きな交差点。駅周辺の利便性は格段に低いです。今後この駅を利用するのは止めようと思うレベル。
There is no taxi roundabout and a big intersection when you leave the station. The convenience around the station is much lower. I think that I will stop using this station in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2/19 11時台に座っていた男の駅員が女みたいに指で髪をくねくねしていていかにもかったるそうに座っている姿に物凄くムカついた。
JR西はICと切符の運賃別にして運賃下げろよ！やらないならこんな態度平気で取ってんじゃねぇよ！
2/19 I was terribly disappointed to see a man's station employee sitting at 11 o'clock, twisting his hair with his fingers like a woman, and sitting in a very sloppy manner.
For JR West, lower the fare by IC and ticket fare! If you don't do it, don't take this attitude!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 朝の通勤時間帯に沢山職員がいる中、みどりの窓口が開いていない(9時から営業) それに改札背にして笑っているのは雑談かな？仕事しているときは自動改札のほうを見て『いつも御乗車ありがとうございます』くらい言えば？ 若い駅員さんに元気がなく、接遇があまりできていない職員が目立ちます。改札で集まるなら階段や通路の逆行している客に注意を促しスムーズに乗り降りして通行ができるように努力すれば？今まで長い間使っていますが、こう言った前向きな姿見たことありません！
While there are a lot of staff during the morning commute, the green window is not open (open from 9am). When you work, look at the automatic ticket gates and say "Always thank you for riding". The staff members who are not well-served by young station staff and are not well treated are noticeable. If you gather at the ticket gate, call attention to the customers who are going backwards on the stairs and passages and try to get on and off smoothly and pass through. I've been using it for a long time, but I've never seen this positive attitude!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 読めることが難しい駅名。裕福な駅ではない。御幣島よりも昔から歌島橋の地名の方が有名で、歌島橋の大きな交差点下にある駅なので『歌島橋』の駅名になるかと思いましたが違いました。何か意図があるのでしょうか。
